It’s Fabulous Outdoors!
The British Countryside from an Italian point of view.
I’ve been living in the UK for about ten years now, and as a lover of the outdoors, I love to explore the countryside to find new places full of character. As you cycle you take so much more in of your surroundings than if you are sat in a car. I particularly like the look of old houses and old pubs, their little windows and all the details that shows how well they’ve been looked after and cared for over hundreds of years.
This is the White Bear Pub in Warlingham Surrey, it’s a 16th century country pub located in between Croydon and Biggin Hill, along a quiet road I often cycle through.
It’s springtime and the sun’s shining, what more can you ask for? These are perfect days for cycling country roads, surrounded by beautiful, colourful fields and accompanied by the sound of birds.
On this ride I went from Surrey to Kent through Brasted and the town of Westerham
From Westerham into Brasted and then up to Ide Hill, a nice climb that ends at a café overlooking the Bough Beech Reservoir, a National Trust Wildlife reserve.

Fabulous Sport Outdoors
Beautiful sunny days this April in Surrey, although today was a bit windy which makes cycling just a little bit harder, but I love the fresh air and the clear blue sky.
Box Hill is one of the best roads to cycle up in this area and, since it was part of the Olympic Games route, it has become very popular amongst cylists and lovers of the outdoors.
These days with their clear blue skies, makes you really appreciate the British countryside, the contrast from the blue sky to the very green and bright grass, it’s fabulous!
Hopefully there will be many more days like today this Spring and Summer..look forward to capturing more landscape, nature and outdoor activity photos.
Thanks for visiting, stay tuned and #GetOutMore!
