In this travel trip we are in Piedmont, Piemonte in Italian means situated at the foot of the Alps. In this particular article, the images represent a beautiful walk arounf the villge of Roppolo.

Roppolo is a municipality in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Turin and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Biella.

Roppolo is located on the southern slopes of Ivrea glacial ridge, west to the Lake of Viverone.

The rapeseed with it’s bright yellow create a beautiful colour contrast  with the surrounding green and brown stripes of agricultural fields.

Things to do in Surrey – A walk in Coombe Wood Gardens Park

Coombe Wood is a small woodland and garden area in the old village of Coombe, Upper Shirley, in the London Borough of Croydon near the junction of Coombe Lane and Conduit Lane. The Coombe Wood Gardens are divided into a series of rooms which together give an all year round display of shrubs and plants set against a backdrop of mature woodland.

We were really impressed by the size and the density of this woodland, a walk through the park with it’s undulating hills and steps, it’s quite a physical exercise.

Coombe Wood Park is open until quite late in the day, so it’s possible to pay a visit on the way back from work.

Colourful Spring Cycling in England

I love springtime, it’s full of colour with the flowers and fields springing into life.

This was one of my journeys cycling to explore and discover the British countryside, where I also spotted this beautiful thatched roof cottage.
